Music and entertainment have always played an important role in the history of Palm Springs, and KWXY has been part of that history for more than 50 years. Some of the greatest entertainers of all time have visited the KWXY studios, including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Trini Lopez, Jerry Vale, Al Martino, Lena Horne, Louis Armstrong, Wolfman Jack, Sonny & Cher, and many others.

KWXY Presents features today’s media personalities, bands, and musicians visiting the KWXY studios to promote their performances at music festivals, concerts, and events, throughout the Coachella Valley.  

As one of the few broadcast stations in the United States that regularly supports new and independent music through on-air programming, the “KWXY Presents” media series showcases new artists and their music along with interviews and studio performances.
